My Top E3 2014 Trailers

Like many I love a good video game trailer. Below are my favourite ones that came out of E3 this year (excluding our own of course).

Rise of the Tomb Raider

As soon as this came on at the Xbox conference I got chills. Such a great way to lead on from the last game and build on Lara’s character. Can’t wait to see more!

The Legend of Zelda Wii U

I mean. Did you. Just wow. The art direction this game is taking just floored me when I first saw it. Not really a trailer as such but still looks to becoming something special.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

I’ve always been a big Halo fan so getting the chance to play through Master Chief’s story on the Xbox One is something I will jump at. Love the suggestion in this trailer that there will be story links into Halo 5 with Agent Locke and the Arbiter.

Star Wars: Battlefront

It’s Star Wars…do I need to say anything else? More concept than trailer but I love seeing behind the scenes and the work in progress footage looks stand out.

No Man’s Sky

My trailer of the show. So much promise and I’m really rooting for the Hello Games team! Love the design, the music, the colours! Win.

Ori and the Blind Forest

This trailer absolutely captured me. Beautiful artwork and music and I just really really want to help those little characters!! Please be ok!! GAAAHHHH!!

Assassin’s Creed Unity

Fantastic cinematic trailer that really shows off the atmosphere of the game. An inspired choice in time for the latest Assassin’s game.

And that is it. There are many other trailers out there worth checking out but these were the ones that stood out for me.

Bonus trailer…just because it is so cute. Yoshi’s Wooly World:
